HealthCare Recruiters International is an exciting interactive digital health startup company of therapy and technology scientists. They are seeking a Technology Officer / Technical Team Lead to take charge of their technology strategy and execution, leading a high-performing engineering and IT team while overseeing technology partnerships and performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the technical vision to support business objectives
- Discover and implement new technologies that give the company a competitive edge
- Evaluate and recommend technology partnerships, platforms, and infrastructure enhancements
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering and IT team
- Supervise system architecture, infrastructure, and engineering workflows to ensure scalability and reliability
- Promote best practices in coding, design, and system security
- Oversee quality assurance, data protection, and compliance processes
- Monitor KPIs, technical debt, and IT budgets to measure performance and ROI
- Establish operational standards and documentation protocols
- Collaborate across departments to align technology with business needs
- Communicate technical strategy and performance to executive leadership, stakeholders, and investors
- Incorporate feedback from customers, partners, and internal users to inform product and platform improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior technical leadership or team lead role
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to SaaS, cloud computing, and healthcare compliance
- Demonstrated ability to create technology strategies that drive growth and scalability
- Solid understanding of business planning, budgeting, and performance metrics
- Experience with infrastructure, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent business/technical graduate degree
- Experience in healthcare tech or regulated industries
