DevOps Engineer, Senior

Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading consulting firm focused on harnessing cloud technology. They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to develop, manage, and secure container platforms to meet client needs while utilizing the latest cloud technologies and ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs
• Help develop container management software to solve clients’ challenges
• Strengthen skills using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments with current container software
• Support team in informing strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process
• Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers
• Gain DevOps skills and experience while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with containerization technologies
• 5+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms
• 5+ years of experience managing software deployments through CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions and applying basic principles, theories, and concepts
• Experience with OOP scripting or program languages
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of automation, infrastructure automation, or microservices
• Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
• Top Secret clearance
