
JOB SUMMARY
A Guest Service Representative plays a key role in creating an impression when our guests arrive, depart, and call for assistance, therefore an outgoing energetic, genuine and customer-oriented personality is vital for this position.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Checks guest in and out of hotel following established procedures
Acts as hotel cashier following established procedures including accurate record keeping, posting of charges, billing disputes and cash payment handling.
Accurately informs guests of shows, facilities, services and room amenities available at Harrah's.
Assist guests by attempting to honor special requests for specific accommodation and presents options when those requests cannot be met.
Follow up with each guest as needed.
Assist guests with information about local area attractions
Answers phone professionally and energetically and assist guests with questions/ concerns.
Proactively checks reservations for accuracy to ensure seamless service.
Maintain energy level and remain attentive while standing on feet during throughout 8–10-hour shift.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand up to 10 hours per day.
Maintains a clean and spotless work area.
Outgoing personality.
Aids guests with luggage, in the absence of a Bell Person, to reduce wait time for guests.
High School Diploma or GED required
Must have customer service experience.
Computer experience and proficiency in common computer applications and Internet Use is required.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Must present a polished, impeccable appearance and a professional demeanor.
Must perform duties with a sense of urgency.
Must be able to work flexible hours and be open to corrective feedback and direction.
Must be personable and energetic.
Ability to handle large/heavy items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, walk and run.
Must be able to stand up to 10 hours per day.
Must be able to work with and tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and areas with secondhand smoke
Must be able to work at a fast pace, efficiently.
Must be able to respond to visual, olfactory and aural cues.
Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
