
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform breakout and tool prep operations on composite parts and tools after curing process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works under the guidance of lead to perform breakout and tool prep operations per schedule.
· Prep tools with releasing agent and uses knifes and scrappers to remove any debris left from previous part. Stage tool for layup operations.
· Removed tools and parts from oven after curing process is complete.
· Removes all bagging material from part and tool and removes part form tool with use of basic hand tools such as shim and hammer.
· Delivers and stages parts in next operation area.
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
6+ months of composites or related experience.
Working Conditions:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
