We are seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer for a direct hire, long term role with an aerospace manufacturing in Hebron, KY.

Key Responsibilities for CNC Programmer
:
Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for complex aerospace components using 5-axis machining in Mastercam
Create and refine advanced multi-axis tool paths for intricate geometries and hard-to-machine materials commonly used in aerospace
Program and support CNC lathes with live tooling for mill-turn aerospace applications
Assist in set-up, prove-out, and validate programs on Makino machining centers and CNC lathes
Perform simulation and verification using Vericut to ensure collision-free, efficient, and compliant machining processes
Interpret aerospace technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T with a high level of accuracy
Select tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters optimized for aerospace materials and tolerances
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to meet strict aerospace quality and repeatability standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for CNC Programmer
:
High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or technical degree preferred)
5+ years of CNC programming experience with a strong focus on aerospace manufacturing and
Proven experience programming complex 5-axis parts for aerospace applications
Proficiency in Mastercam (advanced multi-axis required)
Experience with CNC program verification using Vericut
Hands-on experience with high-performance machining centers, preferably Makino
Experience programming CNC lathes with live tooling (mill-turn)
Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, Macro, and multi-axis machine kinematics
Advanced ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings, CAD models, and GD&T
Demonstrated experience holding tight tolerances and meeting strict quality standards
