Client Integration Engineer

Definitive Healthcare is a leading provider of data and analytics in the healthcare sector, helping clients make informed decisions. As a Client Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex client integrations, ensuring customers can effectively operationalize data within their systems, and collaborating with various teams to optimize these integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex client integrations end-to-end, from discovery and solution design through deployment, validation, and long-term optimization
• Architect and implement data integration solutions across CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), data warehouses, APIs, and custom pipelines
• Serve as the technical point of contact for enterprise customers, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to troubleshoot advanced issues, validate defects, and influence roadmap priorities
• Conduct technical deep dive sessions and integration demos for prospects and existing customers
• Develop reusable integration patterns, best practices, and documentation to accelerate future implementations
• Partner with Customer Success and Account teams to ensure a cohesive, high quality customer experience across all engagements
• Monitor integration performance and proactively identify improvements to enhance reliability, scalability, and data quality
• Act as a subject matter expert on Definitive Healthcare’s data models, APIs, and delivery mechanisms

Requirements:

• BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline preferred)
• 4–7 years of experience in integration engineering, solutions engineering, data engineering, or a similar technical client facing role
• Strong proficiency with SQL and experience working with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with APIs (REST, SOAP), ETL tools, and integration frameworks
• Advanced knowledge of CRM data structures—especially Salesforce, including data modeling, automation, and ingestion patterns
• Experience designing and deploying data pipelines using tools such as Python, Airflow, or similar
• Demonstrated success managing technical projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment with evolving customer needs
