Senior Analytics Engineer

Harnham is partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed healthcare organization that is transforming how care is delivered through data and AI. The Senior Analytics Engineer will build and scale a modern analytics foundation, enabling self-service analytics and AI-driven insights to improve outcomes for patients in long-term care.

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale dbt models and data transformations
• Own the semantic/metrics layer across the business
• Translate business needs into clean, scalable data models
• Enable: Self-service analytics, BI tools, AI/LLM querying (agentic analytics)
• Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders, data engineering, and BI teams

Requirements:

• 6–8+ years across data engineering / analytics engineering
• Strong SQL and dbt experience (macros, snapshots, metrics)
• Deep experience with healthcare data: Claims, EHR/EMR HL7 / FHIR
• Strong background in data modeling and semantic layers
• Snowflake or Databricks
• Looker / LookML
• ThoughtSpot, Sigma, or similar tools
• Experience with AI/analytics tooling
