Addepar is a global data and AI platform empowering investment professionals to turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence. They are seeking a Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer to lead high-stakes engagements with C-Suite executives and drive the technical side of the sales cycle, focusing on AI-driven workflows and data integration.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead domain authority for global, multi-billion dollar opportunities, partner with account executives to design complex deal structures and multi-year expansion roadmaps
- Guide existing clients through the modernization of their workflows. You’ll demonstrate how migrating to a platform or adopting Addepar’s AI-powered insights creates a vertically integrated ecosystem that outpaces their current setup
- Conduct executive-level discovery to identify systemic business inefficiencies, mapping them to a holistic technical vision that incorporates AI, data lakehouses, and third-party integrations
- Design and build tailored demo environments, run end-to-end proof-of-concepts including the ingestion of client data to showcase the platform's value
- Lead technical executive reviews and expansion executions for our largest existing relationships, identifying and delivering new platform value that directly drives incremental ARR
- Manage the technical portions of the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs/RFIs and coordinating with internal product and engineering teams
- Act as a force multiplier by mentoring, establishing and refining sales playbooks, and institutionalizing standards for demos and technical validation
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture, with a proven history of closing your company's highest revenue generating deals and navigating global enterprise procurement
- Deep fluency in AI-driven software and modern data ecosystems
- Experience in pitching high-impact use cases to external stakeholders and pushing technical boundaries internally
- Confidence to guide high-stakes technical engagements and lead executive reviews for c-suite stakeholders
- Ability to navigate differing opinions
- High-level systems design skills, understanding how Addepar integrates into massive, multi-vendor legacy architectures
- Ability to articulate value along the way
- Understanding of asset classes and knowledge of where global wealth management is heading
- Ability to position Addepar as the only platform capable of meeting future platform and market demands
- Intellectual curiosity and skills at connecting technical milestones to tangible business value and ARR growth throughout the entire lifecycle of a relationship
- Understanding of workflows embedded and concept of integrating complex data sets
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Certifications such as the CFA, CFP and Masters Degree are a plus
- Flexibility to travel on short notice (10-20%)
