They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Hybrid Platforms Engineering-Productivity team, where the role involves designing and implementing developer productivity tools and platforms to enhance the software delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain developer productivity tools and platforms that streamline the software delivery lifecycle for HP teams
- Design, implement, and maintain new AI-supported SDLC workflows
- Build APIs, automation, and CI/CD pipelines that accelerate development and testing workflows across multiple services
- Collaborate with SREs, developers, and quality engineers to improve observability, build reliability, and deployment efficiency
- Contribute to shared infrastructure services such as ephemeral environments, resource modeling APIs, and developer onboarding automation
- Measure and monitor the performance of tools in production to ensure high availability and low latency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent studies and experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python, with strong focus on backend systems and APIs
- Experience developing and deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton) and modern DevOps workflows
- Familiarity with coding assistants
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
- Experience developing internal developer platforms or SaaS tooling for engineers
- Familiarity with observability and logging frameworks (Prometheus, Loki, Splunk, CloudWatch)
- Experience with AI-assisted development, productivity analytics, or workflow automation
- Contributions to open source projects or engagement in developer productivity communities
