Booz Allen Hamilton is looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to help clients modernize their IT infrastructures. In this role, you will manage server configurations for cloud solutions, work closely with cloud architects, and apply DevOps practices to support meaningful missions.
Responsibilities:
- Set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks
- Support clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures
- Manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions
- Establish or provision virtual machines or networks
- Use cloud services to further clients’ missions
- Develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for server and network components
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns such as ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SageMaker, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
- 3+ years of experience with containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and container orchestration
- 3+ years of experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
- 3+ years of experience with secrets management and security automation
- Experience with DevOps Monitoring such as CloudWatch or Prometheus, logging, and alerting
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with bash or python scripting and CI/CD tools and practices such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- 3+ years of experience with disaster recovery
- 2+ years of experience in TypeScript, Python, or OOP language and writing and reviewing code for enterprise scale applications
- Experience in security scanning tools and DevSecOps practices such as SonarQube or Snyk
- Experience with security compliance automation and continuous monitoring, and system design with focus on scalability and reliability
- Experience with database administration and optimization such as RDS, DynamoDB, or MongoDB, serverless architecture expertise such as Lambda or API Gateway, and leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification
- IAT Level II+, Security+, or CISSP Certification
