Webflow is building the world’s leading AI-native Digital Experience Platform as a remote-first company. The Senior Product Design Manager will lead visual development and design strategy, shaping core product surfaces and influencing enterprise adoption and ecosystem growth.
Responsibilities:
- Set a high bar for craft by shaping developer tools and design systems that are simple, intuitive, and powerful
- Champion a builder culture where teams explore ideas early and often to spark alignment and push the work forward
- Bring real experience with AI, from shipping features to experimenting with side projects, and use that knowledge to shape how we design with it
- Define operating principles for how design tooling and design systems scale across multiple product pillars
- Establish clear success metrics tied to activation, extensibility, and long-term platform growth
- Shape roadmap decisions by grounding design strategy in business impact and customer insight
- Partner closely with engineering by co-creating solutions, understanding technical tradeoffs, and building trust across disciplines
- Communicate clearly with senior leaders by framing design systems and developer tools as critical to adoption, growth, and long-term product strategy
- Foster a builder culture that is curious, experimental, and playful while grounding the team in rigor and design excellence
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 10 years of experience in product design, including at least 3 years managing and leading teams
- experience shipping AI-powered workflows or designing systems that incorporate LLMs, code generation, or agentic automation
- strong systems thinking — comfortable designing primitives, not just features
- energized by designer and developer tooling that enables creativity, ingenuity, and empowerment for individuals and teams building web experiences
- demonstrate a portfolio of shipped software products that made a significant impact on business and customer goals
- mastery of organizational influence and collaborative execution in ambiguous, complex product environments at high-growth companies
