As a Marketing Systems & AI Automation Manager, you will be responsible for architecting, automating, and optimizing marketing data workflows to enhance pipeline growth and improve outreach effectiveness, while bridging marketing, operations, and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain complex automation workflows to power marketing and sales outreach, routing, and engagement
- Architect seamless integrations between our core marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), and specialized GTM tools
- Leverage tools like Zapier to automate manual processes and ensure real-time data flow across the GTM tech stack
- Build and manage sophisticated data enrichment waterfalls using platforms like Clay, Lusha, ZoomInfo to source and qualify target accounts and contacts
- Utilize APIs and webhooks to pull in buying signals, intent data, and firmographic details to trigger automated GTM plays
- Implement generative AI (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) within automated workflows to scale highly personalized outbound messaging through platforms like Outreach
- Ensure strict data integrity, hygiene, and consistency across marketing automation and CRM platforms
- Oversee critical data processes, including lead deduplication, routing, scoring, and audience segmentation
- Partner with IT, Revenue Operations, and data teams to centralize data and enhance our marketing infrastructure
- Continuously evaluate, identify, and implement new technologies to improve our GTM motion and automation capabilities
- Troubleshoot complex system errors, sync issues, and API failures between the marketing and sales stack
- Provide technical training and enablement for marketing and sales stakeholders on how to leverage new automated plays and insights
- Measure the success of automated GTM campaigns by rigorously tracking measurable outcomes, pipeline generation, and return on investment (ROI)
- Analyze workflow performance, conversion rates, and engagement metrics to relentlessly optimize data routing and campaign execution
- Provide highly analytical, data-driven recommendations to leadership to optimize GTM efficiency and drive business growth
- Support annual and quarterly planning processes with insights on system capabilities, database health, and automation scalability
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, GTM systems, or a related analytical field in a B2B SaaS environment
- 2+ years working with modern GTM automation and enrichment tools (e.g., Clay)
- Hands-on experience building and scaling outbound GTM campaigns, specifically including list building, enrichment, segmentation, routing, and activation across systems
- Strong proficiency in building advanced automated workflows using Zapier, or custom API/webhook connections
- Extensive hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo) and CRM platforms (Salesforce), with a strong understanding of marketing-sales alignment
- Highly analytical and problem-solving mindset, with advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for handling and manipulating complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical system processes and data workflows into actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience writing custom scripts using Python, JavaScript, or SQL for advanced data manipulation and scraping
- Proven experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI into outbound marketing workflows
- Familiarity with predictive analytics and intent data platforms (e.g., 6sense, Hockeystack)
