Duration: 12 months

Job Summary

The NYC311 program is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Integration Developer to support and enhance the City of New York''s incident-oriented Customer Service Management System (CSMS). This role focuses on designing, customizing, and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions using modern Azure and Power Platform technologies.

The developer will work closely with internal teams and NYC agencies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations that support call center, online portal, SMS/text, and mobile application workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Dynamics 365 CE components including plugins, workflows, and JavaScript/TypeScript extensions
• Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems using:
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Service Bus
• Develop and configure Power Platform solutions, including:
  • Model-driven apps
  • Canvas apps
  • Power Automate flows
  • Dataverse entities
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and solution architectures
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and security using role-based access and Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Troubleshoot defects and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements
• Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments using Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment
• Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to development best practices

Mandatory Skills & Experience

(Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered)

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise-scale software solutions
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including:
  • Azure Functions
  • Logic Apps
  • Service Bus
  • Synapse
  • Storage
  • API Management (APIM)
• Deep understanding of Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines)
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Desired Skills & Experience

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications
• Experience with Customer Insights (Journeys / Data)
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database
• Broader experience integrating Azure services with Microsoft Business Applications
• Exposure to DevOps best practices
