Lead Software QA/Test Engineer

Mindlance is a company seeking a Lead Software QA/Test Engineer to manage business testing and ensure software quality. The role involves leading a team of testers, developing test plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to oversee testing processes and project statuses.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business, IT and end to end testing group in conducting and managing business testing
• Accountable for end to end requirements traceability
• Responsible for test remediation lifecycle
• Responsible for RAID and dependencies working closely with business, IT and testing teams
• Responsible for weekly project status
• Responsible for working closely with business readiness team
• Work closely with business readiness for Provider Onboarding
• Lead team of testers in support of multiple projects/corporate initiatives to provide test planning and test execution activities
• Directly responsible for analyzing the complex requirements, operational problems, specifications and change requests
• Produce test plans and test cases to determine presence and scope of potential code defects
• Monitor accurate and thorough test cases, scripts and data with pre-determined results within specified scheduled dates
• Perform test execution of all assigned test cases
• Research and provide technical support on operational/test system defects and propose solutions
• Lead and manage project defect management meetings and triage the issues/defects found during the test execution
• Acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to research, analyze and propose solutions to the most complex technical, operational and test scenarios
• Communicate the project and testing status to management
• Provide and document issues and risks associated with the testing effort to the project stakeholders and leadership
• Guide and mentor team of testers in support of the projects and day-to-day to testing effort
• Champion and assist in the mission and objectives to follow the best practices and processes set forth by leadership

Requirements:

• Prior experience with UM, CM, Clinical Operations
• Prior experience with any leading UM platform
• Prior experience with business testing
• Prior experience with project management
• Prior experience with requirements traceability management
• Familiarity with CMS-0057 F requirements
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for a multi-party project environment
• Excellent team building skills
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Education Details: Information Technology, Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience: 8 years Software design, development, testing and software requirement management
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
• Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of software test requirements and protocols
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
• Experience with hardware/software/database technologies and network systems
• Experience as software developer
• Experience with databases and query languages
• Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent
• Attention to detail
