Mindlance is a company seeking a Lead Software QA/Test Engineer to manage business testing and ensure software quality. The role involves leading a team of testers, developing test plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to oversee testing processes and project statuses.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business, IT and end to end testing group in conducting and managing business testing
- Accountable for end to end requirements traceability
- Responsible for test remediation lifecycle
- Responsible for RAID and dependencies working closely with business, IT and testing teams
- Responsible for weekly project status
- Responsible for working closely with business readiness team
- Work closely with business readiness for Provider Onboarding
- Lead team of testers in support of multiple projects/corporate initiatives to provide test planning and test execution activities
- Directly responsible for analyzing the complex requirements, operational problems, specifications and change requests
- Produce test plans and test cases to determine presence and scope of potential code defects
- Monitor accurate and thorough test cases, scripts and data with pre-determined results within specified scheduled dates
- Perform test execution of all assigned test cases
- Research and provide technical support on operational/test system defects and propose solutions
- Lead and manage project defect management meetings and triage the issues/defects found during the test execution
- Acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to research, analyze and propose solutions to the most complex technical, operational and test scenarios
- Communicate the project and testing status to management
- Provide and document issues and risks associated with the testing effort to the project stakeholders and leadership
- Guide and mentor team of testers in support of the projects and day-to-day to testing effort
- Champion and assist in the mission and objectives to follow the best practices and processes set forth by leadership
Requirements:
- Prior experience with UM, CM, Clinical Operations
- Prior experience with any leading UM platform
- Prior experience with business testing
- Prior experience with project management
- Prior experience with requirements traceability management
- Familiarity with CMS-0057 F requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for a multi-party project environment
- Excellent team building skills
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
- Education Details: Information Technology, Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience: 8 years Software design, development, testing and software requirement management
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
- Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of software test requirements and protocols
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
- Experience with hardware/software/database technologies and network systems
- Experience as software developer
- Experience with databases and query languages
- Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent
- Attention to detail
