AVEVA Controls Engineer

SARACA is seeking an experienced AVEVA System Platform Specialist to support industrial automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AVEVA technologies, focusing on System Platform implementation, migration strategies, and integration with OEM systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system assessments and requirements analysis for AVEVA System Platform 2023R2SP1 implementation
• Install and configure AVEVA System Platform components including System Platform, Operations and Integration, InTouch, and Historian
• Develop and execute migration strategies from legacy systems (AVEVA System Platform 2014 R2) to newer versions
• Establish and maintain integration touchpoints with external OEM OPC providers
• Troubleshoot IO connectivity issues within the System Platform ecosystem
• Execute system cutovers within the client's change management framework
• Work independently during non-standard business hours for critical system implementations and troubleshooting
• Operate within privileged access environments (PAM) following security protocols

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems environment
• Deep expertise in AVEVA/Wonderware technologies
• Focus on System Platform 2023R2SP1 implementation
• Migration strategies and integration with OEM systems
• Strong technical skills in industrial software platforms
• PLC integration
• Ability to work independently during critical system cutovers
• AVEVA System Platform (ArchestrA IDE)
• InTouch HMI implementation and configuration
• AVEVA Historian & Historian Client
• OPC/OPC UA communication protocols
• PLC Integration (Rockwell/Siemens/Mitsubishi)
• SQL Server database management
• Windows Server administration
• Manufacturing workflows & ISA 95 understanding
• Change Management processes
