Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst role involves turning data into actionable insights, supporting business intelligence needs, and collaborating with teams to design reports and dashboards that drive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Create visual design solutions and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards that deliver insights
• Analyzes, designs, codes, configures, tests, debugs, deploys, documents and maintains reporting assets
• Utilizes appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and information by making use of basic BI reporting tools
• Works with internal/external team(s) to define necessary information and create solutions based on requirements
• Works with Sr. and Lead Analysts to ensure that processes and services are continuously monitored for data accuracy, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency
• Supports processes and quality improvement activities
• Participates in Agile ceremonies determining the nature and scope of project activities and processes to be developed or modified, working across teams to communicate development dependencies to accomplish final solution
• Performs job-related duties in conformance with DS standards
• Coaches less experienced Business Intelligence Analysts
• Provides analytics that can turn data into critical information in understanding a systemic business need

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, application programming, software development, information systems, database administration, mathematics, engineering, or relevant experience in related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in related field
• Experience working with compliance data
• Experience working in Medicaid (preferably D-SNP)
