Orion Innovation is a premier, award-winning, global business and technology services firm. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale procurement and systems implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee large-scale procurement and systems implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
- Manage the full project lifecycle—from initiation and resource planning to risk mitigation and final closure
- Serve as the primary contact for senior leadership and cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Procurement); manage external vendor and implementation partner relationships
- Identify opportunities for innovation in procurement workflows and drive the design of improved policies and best practices
- Align project objectives with organizational goals and provide regular status dashboards and analytics to executive leadership
- Establish project governance, facilitate steering committees, and motivate cross-functional team members in a matrix environment
- Partner with operations teams to develop training plans and documentation to ensure high user adoption and sustained project benefits
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically leading complex, large-scale projects in procurement, finance, or system implementations
- Advanced Expertise in the procurement lifecycle (Source-to-Pay) and financial concepts (ROI, budgeting, cost control)
- Proven experience leading system integrations (ERP/Procurement platforms); hands-on experience with SAP and Coupa
- Proven track record managing multinational projects across different time zones and cultures
- Excellent influence and engagement skills, with the ability to present complex updates to senior executives
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is required
