Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and certify defense systems in support of U.S. national security policy
- Provide recommendations on complicated weapon systems
- Develop skills in systems and electrical engineering while gaining experience in defense programs
- Merge practical engineering experience and new technologies to create systems capable of supporting national security
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering
- 1+ years of experience with CAD
- 1+ years of experience with soldering
- Knowledge of electrical system design best practices
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with U.S. Air Force aircraft or test systems
- Experience with AMAC systems and Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Experience with logic devices, PCBs, or embedded systems or programming software
- Knowledge of systems engineering, system integration, test and evaluation, or MBSE
- Knowledge of system architecture and design methodologies
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Ability to evaluate systems against technical requirements and identify concerns and issues
- Ability to communicate advanced concepts in software engineering clearly and translate them to non-technical individuals
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Top Secret clearance
