They are seeking a Software Engineering Manager who will lead their software engineering team, actively design and improve systems, and drive projects from idea to delivery while utilizing low-code and no-code platforms primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Actively design, build, and maintain .NET applications and Web APIs
- Own and guide software architecture, technical standards, and long-term system direction
- Evaluate when to use low-code / no-code platforms (such as Microsoft Power Platform) versus custom development
- Define and implement patterns for automation and system integration across ERP (P21), SQL, Microsoft 365, and other platforms
- Work directly with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and shape practical, scalable solutions
- Drive project planning, prioritization, and delivery across multiple initiatives
- Navigate ambiguity, tradeoffs, and constraints with practical, business-aware decision-making
- Perform code reviews and maintain high standards for quality, performance, and maintainability
- Continuously improve how the team builds, delivers, and supports solutions
Requirements:
- Strong, hands-on experience with C# and .NET
- Experience building applications using ASP.NET and Blazor
- Designing and implementing RESTful Web APIs
- Experience with system integration and data flow across platforms
- Strong understanding of SQL and data-driven systems
- Experience working with or integrating Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, M365, Azure)
- Solid command of object-oriented design and application architecture
- Strong independent thinker who operates with minimal oversight
- Comfortable making decisions without perfect information
- Proven experience managing developers and delivering complex software projects
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to explain technical decisions clearly
- Comfortable working directly with business users to define and refine solutions
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, modernization, or meaningful change
- Willingness to challenge assumptions (including leadership's) in service of better outcomes
- Direct, clear communicator — not political, not passive
- Preference for outcomes over process, and pragmatism over perfection

- Experience with low-code / no-code platforms, preferably Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Experience modernizing legacy systems
- Cloud experience, preferably Azure
- Familiarity with ERP systems or operational business software
