Mobile QA Tester (Ionic Framework)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mobile QA Tester with hands-on experience in testing hybrid mobile applications built using the Ionic Framework. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in mobile testing, automation tools, and a deep understanding of cross-platform app behavior on both Android and iOS devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automated testing of mobile applications developed using Ionic.
• Validate application functionality, usability, and performance across Android and iOS platforms.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar bug tracking systems.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Ensure app compatibility across multiple devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in mobile application testing (Android & iOS).
• Hands-on experience with Ionic Framework (Angular-based apps).
• Knowledge of hybrid mobile app testing tools.
• Experience with automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
• Familiarity with REST API testing.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX guidelines and standards.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
