API Heat Transfer is a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialty heat exchangers and heat transfer solutions. The Product Sales Manager will be responsible for cultivating and managing strategic accounts to drive sales growth, while also ensuring successful collaboration with internal teams to develop new cooling solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategy to grow with current and new OEM & aftermarket accounts
- Promote strong relationships with key stake holders and decision makers both internally and externally
- Coordinate and collaborate with customer and API engineering to develop new cooling system solutions for customer platforms
- Prepare and submit new customer cooling modules quotes by working with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations
- Assemble and communicate rolling 12-month Order Forecast
- Deliver market intelligence to the factory, identifying product gaps, general economic market conditions, monitoring the competition’s pricing, products, delivery issues, branding efforts, etc
- Manage and update account in Salesforce CRM
- Build and nurture professional networks, attend market events and, trade shows, participate in professional industry organizations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years relevant experience working with technical product solutions
- Proven track record of profitable sales growth
- At least 3 years in the heat transfer industry and strong technical comprehension of engine cooling/thermal management applications and/or principles of heat transfer
- Superb communication, client relationship management, negotiation, and sales capabilities are a must!
- Domestic travel is a part of this role at approximately 50%
