Cloud and Things is focused on transforming the public sector’s IT environment by solving complex IT challenges for government clients. They are seeking a Program Manager to lead the design, launch, and growth of an enterprise IT peripheral vending program, overseeing strategy, vendor operations, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Define and document the end-to-end operational model, technology roadmap, and global deployment plan for IT peripheral vending and automated locker solutions
- Lead site assessments and machine placement decisions using foot traffic, badge access, and occupancy data
- Develop and maintain the peripheral catalog, including standard assortments, specialized configurations, SKU governance, par levels, replenishment triggers, and stockout tolerance thresholds by location type
- Manage relationships with vending hardware vendors, logistics providers, and replenishment partners
- Negotiate and oversee vendor-managed inventory agreements, including consignment, pay-on-dispense, and purchase order models
- Define and enforce vendor SLAs for restocking cadence, machine uptime, dispense success, inventory visibility, and response times, including regular business reviews and escalation of performance gaps
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting on machine utilization, peripheral demand, inventory turnover, and geographic usage trends
- Analyze transaction data to support demand planning, replenishment decisions, anomaly detection, and the continued maturity of vendor-managed inventory capabilities
- Partner with BI and data teams to extend existing analytics platforms for operational reporting and decision-making
- Lead integration of vending and locker workflows with identity and SSO, ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, MDM, procurement, and ERP systems to support authenticated transactions, service workflows, asset tracking, device lifecycle management, financial reconciliation, and audit requirements
- Author and maintain the program playbook, supporting policies, and cross-functional RACI for program operations
- Establish and maintain data retention, privacy, audit, finance reconciliation, and compliance processes, including consideration of GDPR and international hardware deployment requirements
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or combination of experience and education
- 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, IT operations, IT asset management, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience leading multi-site or global hardware deployment initiatives from planning through steady-state operations
- Experience managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, SLA development, and performance oversight
- Experience working with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management in an operational environment
- Ability to use operational data and reporting to drive decisions related to inventory, replenishment, and service delivery
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups, including IT, Workplace, Finance, and Procurement
- Experience supporting global expansion efforts across multiple office locations
- Ability to define and manage vendor performance metrics, including machine uptime, restocking cadence, and dispense success rate
- Experience supporting enterprise self-service hardware, vending, locker, or similar automated access programs
- Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory models such as consignment and pay-on-dispense
- Experience with ITAM platforms such as ServiceNow ITAM, Flexera, or Oomnitza
- Working knowledge of identity and SSO integrations in enterprise environments, such as Okta or Azure Active Directory
- Familiarity with MDM and endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, SCCM, or similar platforms
- Experience using BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Knowledge of global compliance considerations related to hardware deployment, including privacy, audit, and import/export requirements
