About this role
Crossover is an edtech startup focused on redefining education through innovative AI-driven products. The Senior Software Engineer will lead the technical advancement of products like TeachTap and TeachTales, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable while collaborating with product teams to align technical designs with product objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Architecting and delivering new features with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and lasting product value
- Partnering with the product team to refine specifications and guiding technical conversations to ensure features align with product objectives
- Overseeing product stability, optimizing performance, and proactively detecting and addressing issues
- Driving high-stakes technical decisions that directly shape user experience and product scalability
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of full-stack development experience, working on front and backend features
- At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions
- At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects
- Experience in using generative AI in your day-to-day development work
