Gen AI Engineer

Clara IT Systems is seeking a Gen AI Engineer for Cloud & AI Initiatives to drive the design of secure, scalable, and modern applications, with a strong emphasis on AI and GenAI-enabling technologies. This role involves collaborating with architects and product teams to deliver innovative solutions and proofs of concept that address real business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with domain and enterprise architects to translate strategy into application and system designs
• Design scalable, cloud-native applications and services using modern architecture patterns
• Lead hands-on solution evaluations, prototypes, and proofs of concept, especially for initiatives involving AI, GenAI, and emerging technologies
• Make informed architectural trade-offs based on business needs, performance, cost, and long-term maintainability
• Contribute reusable patterns and documentation that support solution delivery across teams
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation aligned to design intent
• Apply secure-by-design and DevSecOps principles to all architectural solutions
• Stay informed on trends in cloud services, architecture frameworks, and GenAI tooling
