Senior Product Designer

WelcomeLend is one of the fastest-growing middle market capital markets advisories, seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their small team of senior tech professionals. The role involves owning projects end to end, designing systems, and shaping AI-powered user experiences, while working closely with engineers and capital advisors.

Responsibilities:

• Own projects end to end alongside engineering, from problem definition through design, build, QA, and iteration
• Design systems, not just screens
• Architecture, component reuse, and how individual features compose into a coherent product
• Collect and synthesize feedback from our debt advisors to inform priorities and validate what we've shipped
• Shape how AI surfaces for users

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Product Design experience
• 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with software engineers
• Deep experience taking features from problem statement to shipped product
• Expertise in creating and maintaining and designing systems, libraries, and other tools
• Experience creating complex prototypes using Figma, Framer, Claude, code, or other tools
• Effective written communication. We're 90% async, clear writing matters
• Early stage start up experience where you've owned outcomes
• Experience in fintech, proptech, or platforms with complex data and workflows
• Experience building with AI for prototypes, synthesis, recommendations, matching, generation, etc
• Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to create structure where none exists without over-engineering
