AI Scenario Designer – Train Next‑Gen AI (Remote)

The UVA VEC is seeking a detail-oriented AI Scenario Designer to help train next-generation AI agents by designing realistic scenarios. In this role, you will create immersive digital environments and tasks that simulate real-world challenges, directly improving AI systems' reasoning and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design detailed personas and simulated digital environments (e.g., email, messaging, calendars, file systems)
• Create realistic, multi-step scenarios that test AI reasoning and prioritization
• Run AI agents through your scenarios and evaluate performance
• Provide structured guidance and hints to improve outcomes
• Document tasks, results, and evaluations using structured tools
