Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Data & Reporting professional to support and maintain business-critical Business Intelligence (BI) platforms. This role requires strong analytical expertise, hands-on experience with reporting tools, and the ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues while supporting global business users.
The ideal candidate will function as a cross-platform Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring data accuracy, operational continuity, and high-quality user support across reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across BI and reporting platforms
- Provide tiered production support for business-critical reporting systems
- Manage and respond to Slack-based support workflows and user requests
- Perform data investigation, validation, and reconciliation across multiple sources
- Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies, KPI mismatches, and reporting issues
- Guide business stakeholders in understanding data, metrics, and dashboards
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams for issue escalation and resolution
- Ensure operational continuity with proper escalation and follow-the-sun support model
- Maintain documentation for recurring issues, resolutions, and data definitions
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Data Reporting, BI Support, or Analytics
- Strong experience in Sales/Channel Performance Reporting and KPI analysis
- Hands-on expertise with BI tools such as:
- Tableau
- ThoughtSpot
- Business Objects (or similar platforms)
- Strong SQL/data querying skills for data validation and root cause analysis
- Experience supporting business-critical BI environments
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent requests across global teams
- Strong communication skills to translate technical insights into business context
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of B2B & B2C sales reporting structures
- Familiarity with Institutional Sales, Consumer Channel metrics, and ICDF
- Experience with automated support workflows (Slack, ticketing tools, chatbots)
- Understanding of data pipelines and ETL concepts
- Ability to identify issues related to:
- Data latency
- Data logic errors
- Platform defects
- Experience working in a global support model (follow-the-sun)
