Palantir Data Engineer/ Architect
Location: Ramona, CA Hybrid
Long term Contract

At a high level, we are looking for someone who can assess and review the Palantir platform end-to-end, including architecture, data pipelines, governance, security, and overall readiness. This is not a pure development role experience in audit, assessment, or advisory work is important.

Key requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (mandatory)
- Experience reviewing data pipelines, ontology, data models, and integrations
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Foundry Pipeline Builder and Code Workbooks.

- Solid understanding of enterprise data architecture and platform design
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and cross-platform integrations
- Knowledge of security frameworks (RBAC, IAM/IGAM, Zero Trust)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub, and release management practices
- Ability to perform independent assessments and provide recommendations (gap analysis, remediation roadmap)

Scope of work (high level):
- Review Palantir Foundry architecture, pipelines, and data structures
- Assess data quality, lineage, and governance models
- Identify design gaps, bottlenecks, and risks
- Evaluate security, access controls, and compliance alignment
- Review DevOps, testing, and environment setup (Dev/Test/Prod)
- Assess operational readiness, monitoring, DR, and support models
- Provide structured recommendations and improvement roadmap

- Senior role (10+ years experience preferred)
- Strong preference for candidates with platform assessment or audit experience
