
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is accountable for directing activities of workers concerned with building and setting forms made of wood, metal, vinyl, and other materials in accordance with customer specifications (plans) on Concrete Structural Construction.
The incumbent must have the ability and flexibility to work varying shifts, long hours, and weekends according to production needs and at the discretion of the Supervisor.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads large crews or multiple crews.
• Oversees major project areas or critical path work.
• Serves as the primary field lead for the trade.
• Plan and coordinate complex construction phases.
• Manage manpower, equipment, and material planning for large scopes.
• Coordinate extensively with superintendents, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers.
• Anticipate schedule conflicts and implement solutions.
• Lead constructability discussions and field problem solving.
• Monitor productivity, cost impacts, and schedule performance.
• Mentor developing foremen and crew leads.
• Contribute to safety leadership and project planning meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have…
• A minimum of three years of experience finishing concrete structures and pier foundations, setting steel preformed forming systems, and pouring concrete.
• A strong understanding of forming systems, sequencing, and structural requirements.
• Experience directing others within a small work unit executing work procedures is required.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work phases.
• Plan reading and problem-solving capabilities.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
In addition, the incumbent must:
• Be able to work in constant change in weather and site conditions.
• Be able to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and other similar activities as needed.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes a hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
This individual must also have the ability to identify critical issues and formulate action plans with all levels of management, including corporate and executive.
The incumbent must possess the ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstances of the incident and as directed by the Safety Representative or other management personnel. Must be capable of evacuating the work area in a timely manner should an emergency arise.
In addition, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
