About this role
Rexus Group is seeking a Data Engineer to support the data processing and integration workflows associated with the XNAT platform. The engineer will maintain data pipelines, support data transfer processes, and assist in integrating analytical tools used for processing imaging datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain data pipelines supporting imaging data workflows
- Support data transfer and integration between systems and processing tools
- Develop and maintain APIs and automation scripts for data processing tasks
- Support containerized processing tools used for scientific data analysis
- Assist with data export, transformation, and dataset preparation
- Monitor system performance related to data processing and storage
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve data workflow issues
Requirements:
- ONLY US CITIZENS MAY APPLY
- 5+ years (relevant experience preferred)
- Experience with data engineering, data pipelines, or data platform support
- Strong experience with Python, APIs, and scripting
- Experience working with Linux environments
- Understanding of large dataset processing and data workflows
- Support & Availability Requirement: Engineer must be available for system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance support. Issues must be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within the agreed support window. Engineer should be available for remote coordination with the client team when required
- Experience with containers or cloud-based processing environments is preferred
- Experience working with research data platforms or scientific datasets is a plus
