BP Environmental Services is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their sales team. The role focuses on generating new leads, initiating conversations with potential clients, and setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients through a mix of channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, site solicitations and other sales tools
- Set Appointments: Schedule qualified meetings for the Sales team with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Collaborate: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to strategize on pipeline development and enhance outreach efforts
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and manage a pipeline of leads in our CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Market Research: Conduct industry research to identify new business development opportunities and provide insights to the sales team on market trends
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at various levels
- A self-starter with a passion for sales and an eagerness to learn and grow
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance goals
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Positive attitude, coachable, and ready to contribute to a high-energy sales environment
- Experience in waste and recycling is a plus but not required
- Experience with CRM tools (Dynamics, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft) and sales engagement platforms is a plus
