Sentara Health is a healthcare organization that provides quality outpatient services to the surrounding community. They are seeking a Customer Service Rep I responsible for handling telephone inquiries from members or patients regarding eligibility, prescription benefits, claim payments, and patient services needs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries from members or patients
- Primarily responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address issues related to either member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues or patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling
- Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years previous customer service experience required
- Previous Data entry experience
- Remote to Hampton Roads' geographic area preferred (for Training/education, occasional team building)
