Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing cybersecurity company dedicated to helping organizations identify and mitigate exploitable attack vectors. They are seeking an ambitious Commercial Sales Engineer who will work closely with Account Executives to support sales growth, deliver powerful demonstrations of their NodeZero platform, and develop expertise in modern cybersecurity concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Account Executives to drive opportunities across small and mid-sized organizations by supporting discovery, demos, and technical evaluations
- Join customer conversations to understand their infrastructure, security maturity, and business priorities
- Show prospects how NodeZero helps identify real attack paths, validate security controls, and reduce risk
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business value for both technical buyers and executive stakeholders
- Develop the confidence to answer customer questions, guide conversations, and help move deals forward
- Work with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to improve customer experience and share market feedback
- Learn modern cybersecurity concepts, offensive security methodologies, and consultative selling skills from experienced mentors
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or another customer-facing technical role
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and desire to build a long-term career in the space
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical topics
- High curiosity, coachability, and eagerness to learn
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Based in Chicago or open to relocating there
