Staff Engineer Software, iOS

Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform, seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to serve as a technical leader and architect across the mobile platform. The role involves driving complex initiatives, leading architecture and design of iOS systems, and contributing to technical strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and design of complex iOS systems
• Drive multi-team technical initiatives
• Define mobile engineering best practices
• Partner with backend teams on APIs and real-time systems
• Improve performance and reliability
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with iOS focus
• Expertise in Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI
• Experience with real-time systems
• Strong system design and leadership experience
• Video streaming experience (HLS, WebRTC)
• Marketplace or e-commerce experience
• Startup or high-growth environment experience
