Allied Resources Technical Consultants is an innovative AI & Data Analytics Organization seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their team. The role involves taking full ownership of the data ecosystem, optimizing data infrastructure, and supporting AI/ML initiatives to drive business insights.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end data ecosystem, including pipelines, ETL processes, and overall platform health
- Design and optimize data warehouses and “gold standard” data models to enable self-service analytics
- Build and maintain scalable data lakes, warehouses, and databases to support AI/ML workflows
- Optimize performance using advanced SQL (CTEs) and Python scripting
- Implement data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability across systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Support and enhance AI/ML and analytics initiatives through structured data modeling
- Maintain strong documentation and governance practices to support scalability and usability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with ownership of pipelines and infrastructure
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (including complex query optimization) and Python
- Strong experience building and managing ETL pipelines and data architectures
- Experience with modern data tools such as Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran
- Proven ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Familiarity with big data environments and scalable architectures
- Experience leading data engineering initiatives or projects
- Background working in startup or small, agile teams
- Exposure to AI/ML workflows and data modeling for advanced analytics
