Software Engineer

Humana Inc. is a leading U.S. healthcare company that provides insurance services and healthcare solutions. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in GraphQL and React JS to develop and maintain web applications and integrate various technologies for improved service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications utilizing GraphQL for queries, mutations, and Apollo/Relay client management
• Implement web components using encapsulation, shadow DOM, and custom elements for reusable and maintainable UI
• Create accessible, responsive, and scalable styles using CSS and SCSS
• Build applications with React and Next.js, utilizing hooks, server-side rendering (SSR), routing, and state management
• Integrate with REST and SOAP APIs for third-party services
• Work with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, and content fragments
• Deploy, monitor, and scale solutions on Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Participate in DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipeline configuration and version control
• Apply security and compliance standards, including PCI, HIPAA, and CMS requirements

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in GraphQL, including query and mutation development and Apollo/Relay client handling
• Experience with web component architecture, including encapsulation, shadow DOM, and custom elements
• Strong skills in CSS and SCSS for building maintainable, accessible, and responsive web interfaces
• Proficient with React and Next.js, including hooks, SSR, routing, and state management
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, and content fragments
• Strong experience with API integration (REST/SOAP)
• Moderate experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling
• Moderate familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and version control tools
• Moderate understanding of security and compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, CMS)
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
