Sr UI Software Engineer

Humana Inc. is a leading U.S. healthcare company dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities. The Senior UI Software Engineer will code software applications, oversee testing and debugging, and work on user interfaces and front-end applications as part of an automation team.

Responsibilities:

• Codes software applications based on business requirements
• Works on assignments that involve complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software
• Oversees testing, debugging, and develops fixes
• Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues
• Begins to influence department’s strategy within required scope of work
• Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent and relevant work experience in lieu of degree requirement
• Significant software development experience with a requirement for C#/.NET, and front-end UI development in Blazor
• Minimum of 5 + years' experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical requirements
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible - highly desired
• Python and Golang experience are both a plus
• Experience with infrastructure in an enterprise environment
• Experience with cloud products/technologies
