SRM Digital LLC is seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-native services and DevOps practices, focusing on efficient application deployment and cloud migration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Load Balancing, IAM, and Secrets Management
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure consistent and automated provisioning
- Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Monitor, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, security, and operations to drive DevOps best practices
- Support application migration initiatives to GCP, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Implement and enforce Kubernetes security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management
- Partner with application teams to provide infrastructure guidance, deployment support, and operational excellence
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Lead problem resolution efforts and ensure minimal disruption during cloud operations and migrations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, GKE, IAM, Load Balancing, and Secrets Management
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, storage, and database services
- Proficiency in Git and version control best practices
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
