Vorlon is the Agentic Ecosystem Security Platform protecting the converged AI and SaaS ecosystem. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will own the security of internal systems and help enterprise clients secure their agentic ecosystems.
Responsibilities:
- Own the security of our internal systems
- Play a hands-on role in helping enterprise clients secure their agentic ecosystems
- Work across internal infrastructure, product security, and client-facing engagements
- Identify risk, build controls, and ensure that both Vorlon and the organizations we protect are operating with confidence
- Blend deep technical security expertise with a practical, builder's mindset
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to harden our systems, respond to threats, and shape how Vorlon approaches security from the inside out
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or application security
- Deep understanding of SaaS security, IAM, OAuth, API security, and cloud identity
- Strong data security background, including data classification, data loss prevention, sensitive data governance, and securing data in motion across distributed systems
- Hands-on experience securing AI platforms and agentic frameworks, including Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Salesforce Agentforce, and ServiceNow
- Solid understanding of how AI agents authenticate, access data, and operate across enterprise SaaS environments and the security risks that introduces
- Hands-on experience securing cloud environments across AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern SaaS stacks
- Strong familiarity with threat detection, incident response, and security operations
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and low overhead
- Experience with SSPM, CASB, identity security, or cloud security platforms
- Familiarity with common enterprise SaaS platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Slack, and GitHub
- Prior experience at an early-stage security company
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty
