Manager, Capital Markets Structured Finance

Pathward is a financial empowerment company dedicated to creating financial inclusion for all. The Manager of Capital Markets Structured Finance will be responsible for building and executing complex strategic transactions to optimize the bank's balance sheet and improve financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and leading the bank’s Capital Markets off balance sheet platform and execution strategy
• Assist in the evaluation, structuring and execution of potential new Capital Markets structured finance transactions including securitization, whole loan sales and forward flow agreements
• Drive execution with top investment banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, credit funds and private institutional investors to fund off balance sheet assets
• Develop and enhance relationships with capital sources, institutional investors, rating agencies and law firms
• Prepare investor material to position Pathward’s assets in the Capital Markets
• Assist the Capital Markets Data Analytics team in developing financial models relating to asset performance and pricing
• Manage day-to-day communication and due diligence requests from capital market partners
• Develop and maintain investor reporting requirements, surveillance, internal dashboard reporting and Monthly Business reviews
• Develop and update marketing material for prospective investors
• Create and maintain investor databases and transaction comparables
• Identify and implement new concepts, best practices and approaches related to Capital Markets reporting and operational & credit risk management
• Assist in overseeing all third-party Capital Markets financial and operational audits
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, Structured Credit, Specialty Lending and or Investment Banking
• Ability to develop new relationships with structured product and securitization funding sources including investment banks hedge funds, insurance companies, pensions, endowments and family offices
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to articulate investment merits to potential capital partners
• Structured Finance: Internally facing and requires the formulation of effective relationships within a Matrixed environment
• Includes fluency in Pathward's products
• External facing in developing relationships and executing highly complex transactions with Institutional Investors
• MBA or CFA preferred or working towards
• Renewable Energy, SBA and USDA Asset Finance Experience a plus
• Experience in developing structuring and executing Loan Sales, Syndications, Forward Flow Agreements and Securitizations
