Application Engineer II

WorkGenius Group is a company in the gaming industry, and they are seeking an Application Engineer II. The role involves administering and supporting a Jira Cloud environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to design solutions, and owning the delivery of initiatives from requirements gathering to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and support a Jira Cloud environment with thousands of users and extensive custom configurations
• Partner with Delivery Leads, Team Leads, and engineers to gather requirements and design solutions for Jira
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering through production deployment for assigned initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define high-level scope for complex systems of work and determine appropriate delivery models
• Review and share product updates from Atlassian with stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Jira Cloud
• 2+ years of experience with Jira Service Management Cloud
• 4+ years of experience with Groovy scripting (ScriptRunner)
• Advanced proficiency with key add-ons like Advanced Planning, Automation, eazyBI
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
