Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Scientist to design and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions, including data ingestion, pipeline engineering, machine learning model development, deployment, and monitoring.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable building scalable cloud data pipelines and developing predictive or agentic AI models, while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting procurement and supply chain analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines to ingest enterprise procurement, materials, and financial data into cloud analytics platforms
• Develop, train, validate, and deploy machine learning models for:
• Spend classification
• Commodity categorization
• Materials de-duplication
• Market intelligence enrichment
• Implement medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) for data quality, lineage, and governance
• Build agentic AI workflows for reasoning, automation, and procurement tracking
• Partner with SAP functional teams to extract and analyze procurement and materials data
• Manage ML lifecycle including:
• Model versioning
• Deployment
• Monitoring
• Retraining
• Create dashboards and reporting layers for business stakeholders
• Perform advanced data mining and ad hoc analytics
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and maintain technical documentation

Required Skills

• Bachelor s degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Data Science
  • Engineering
  • Related technical field
• 4+ years of combined experience in:
  • Data Science
  • Data Engineering
• Strong programming skills in:
  • Python
  • SQL
• Experience with at least one cloud AI/ML platform:
  • AWS
  • Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Databricks
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Master s degree in a quantitative discipline
• SAP S/4HANA or ERP data integration experience
• Familiarity with:
  • Agentic AI frameworks
  • LLM workflow automation
• GitHub / version control experience
• Utility or energy industry experience
• Agile / SAFe delivery model experience
