Smart Spaces is an award-winning PropTech company transforming workplace interactions through their innovative platform. They are seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to identify and engage prospective clients, generate high-quality sales pipeline, and create new business opportunities across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and engage prospective clients across North America
- Build and manage outbound prospecting activity across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
- Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the wider commercial team
- Research target accounts and map key stakeholders across workplace, real estate, facilities, operations, and technology functions
- Qualify prospects against agreed criteria and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality opportunities
- Work closely with marketing and sales leadership to follow up on inbound enquiries, campaigns, events, and partner-led opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, pipeline progression, and account intelligence within the CRM
- Develop a strong understanding of Smart Spaces’ platform, value proposition, and market positioning
- Share market feedback, buyer insight, and competitor intelligence with internal teams
- Uphold the reputation of Smart Spaces as a whole and not just as an individual
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, or similar sales prospecting role
- Proven ability to generate pipeline and create qualified sales opportunities through outbound activity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and initiating commercial conversations
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and target driven
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team
- Based in the United States, with the ability to support business development activity across North America
- Experience in B2B SaaS, PropTech, workplace technology, smart building technology, or a related sector
- Experience selling into enterprise real estate, workplace, facilities, operations, or technology teams
- Experience working with enterprise or mid-market accounts
- Familiarity with consultative sales methodologies
- Strong research and account-mapping skills
- Interest in workplace innovation, real estate technology, and smart buildings
