Wake County is seeking an Applications Development Engineer to join their Information Technology team. The role involves providing design, implementation, and support solutions primarily focused on collaboration and modernization tools across the Microsoft 365 Power Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Provide design, implementation and support solutions across the Microsoft 365 Power Platform
- Handle multiple projects at once, supporting process automation, improve and modernize data collection, workflow optimization, support AI experimentation, development and implementation and more
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Two years of experience in application design and development
- Six years of experience in application design and development may be substituted for the combined education and experience requirements
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted
- 4+ years' experience in a combination of the following: Low Code Development (e.g. Microsoft PowerPlatform, ServiceNow App Engine, Zappier, etc)
- Enterprise Systems Administration (e.g. on-premises and/or cloud)
- Reporting Development (e.g. PowerBI or Excel)
- IT Project Management (e.g. CompTIA, CAPM, PMP)
- Customer Service (e.g. HelpDesk, Tier 2, etc)
