NGFW Panorama Strata Cloud Manager Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an NGFW Panorama Strata Cloud Manager Engineer to support a leading cybersecurity organization. The NGFW Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing Palo Alto firewall environments, including Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager, while supporting IoT security initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and configure Palo Alto NGFW environments using Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager
• Implement and optimize firewall policies, NAT rules, and security profiles
• Support IoT security integrations and monitoring within enterprise environments
• Perform firewall rule analysis, cleanup, and optimization
• Troubleshoot network and security issues across distributed environments
• Collaborate with security and network teams to ensure best practices
• Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures
• Assist with security audits and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto NGFW technologies
• Hands-on experience with Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager
• Experience supporting IoT environments and security considerations
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Experience troubleshooting firewall and network issues
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Preference for candidates located in the Central Time Zone
