Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Power Electronics Simulation Engineer to design and simulate analog and power circuits using SPICE tools. The role involves developing and optimizing SPICE netlists, analyzing performance metrics, and communicating technical insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate analog and power circuits using SPICE tools
- Develop, modify, and optimize SPICE netlists for accurate modeling
- Analyze performance metrics including ripple, efficiency, and transient response
- Evaluate and improve loop stability and control system behavior
- Select components using datasheets and parametric data
- Build and automate simulation testbenches for validation workflows
- Document results and communicate technical insights to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong experience in analog and power electronics design
- Strong expertise in SPICE simulation and netlist modeling
- Strong experience with power converter topologies such as buck and boost
- Ability to analyze efficiency, stability, and transient performance
- Strong understanding of control theory and loop compensation
- Experience with scripting and testbench automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
