
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Criminal Justice Support Clerk will act as a liaison for the departments of Criminal Justice, Judicial Department, and Behavior Health, and contract correctional facilities. The role will report to the Fiscal & Operations Administrator.
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Primary Tasks:
Gather and review booking information of tribal inmates.
Monitor and track inmate population and movement.
Enter data into the Jail Management System
Observe daily arraignments and track results.
Assist internal and external stakeholders, bail bondsmen and the general public.
Respond to inquiries from visitors and individuals who call by supplying basic bonding information.
Generate proof of incarceration documents for former detainees, make copies, and provide information on arrests to external customers.
Perform various clerical duties including printing jail rosters, updating the jail management system, word processing, copying, and filing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Associate degree in criminal justice, legal or related studies
Knowledge of court procedures
Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills
Ability to deal tactfully with the public, work under stressful conditions.

Two [2] years of experience of directly related experience in criminal justice, an office, or court setting
