Sales & Stock Associate - Full Time

Our Sales Associates are the glue to our business and have a passion for customer service and enjoy providing the best possible experience for our guests. If you like interacting with people face to face, have the ability to work well in a team environment, then we need to meet you! Earn an hourly rate plus you have the ability to increase your hourly rate by $2-$3 per hour with bonus incentives.

The Sales Associate Role:

• You'll be trained to be a "Boot Expert". In that role you will use this expertise to educate, inform, inspire and service the customer.
• Engage and connect with our customers by providing excellent customer service.
• Partner with teammates on tasks, processes, merchandising and product flow opportunities.
• Perform register sales transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established cash control procedures and customer service guidelines.
• Take pride in the appearance of store and show initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized. In addition, you will secure all company assets under one’s control.

Our Stock Associates can learn the stockroom inside and out. Energetic and observant, you work closely with sales associates and managers to keep the sales floor well stocked. They are the gatekeeper of the stockroom, processing all incoming and outgoing shipments in a timely manner, securing inventory and merchandising the sales floor. Stock Associates maintain the storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. They also ensure accurate inventory controls by categorizing merchandise by gender, brand, style, and size.

The Stock Associate Role:

• Performs proper unloading of shipping cartons from commercial carriers and verifying carton count per the delivery receipt.
• Ensures all packing lists are accurately checked per the contents of the shipping cartons. Notifies management of inaccuracies. 
• Organizes stock placement such as the backroom or sales floor.
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
• Ensures accurate inventory controls by ensuring that all merchandise have accurate tags, as well as categorizing merchandise by gender, brand, style, and size. 
• Monitors area for signs of shrinkage and potential security risks, and contacts management when problems are identified.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment by maintaining safety standards, including ensuring ladders are properly secured; disposing of empty pallets, breaking down cardboard, boot boxes, and trash from the sales floor and stockroom.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing, reaching, and standing/walking for the entire shift)
