University Physicians’ Association is excited to welcome a skilled and compassionate full-time Ultrasound Technician to join University Women’s Specialists, conveniently located on the main UT Medical Center campus in Knoxville. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional care to obstetrical and gynecology patients.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on OB/GYN patients
- Conduct perinatal ultrasounds, including fetal anatomical surveys, Doppler studies, and assessments of fetal well-being
- Assist physicians during in-office procedures requiring ultrasound guidance
- Provide clear, compassionate explanations of procedures while addressing patient questions and concerns
- Travel periodically to satellite offices within the Knoxville area, as needed
- Document findings accurately using the electronic medical records system
- Communicate professionally and effectively with providers and care team members
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all office policies
- Support clinic operations by assisting with workflow and other duties to ensure excellent patient care
- Work confidently and independently while remaining a strong team player

Requirements
What We’re Looking For

- Ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- OB/GYN experience preferred.
- RDMS registered required.
- Graduate of accredited ultrasound program.
