The role involves reviewing annotation work for quality, collaborating with teams to refine workflows, and maintaining high standards of quality and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze audio clips to identify and classify artifacts such as noise, clipping, and distortion
- Produce accurate annotations and detailed feedback to improve AI audio models
- Review and quality check annotation work to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Document edge cases and contribute to annotation guidelines and standards
- Collaborate with teams to refine workflows and improve annotation processes
- Provide feedback on tools and optimize annotation workflows
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and communication
Requirements:
- Strong experience in audio engineering, audio QA, or audio annotation
- Strong proficiency with audio restoration tools and editing software
- Deep understanding of audio engineering concepts and common production issues
- Ability to use structured annotation tools and workflows effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle audio issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment
